EA Foundations

At Excelsior, we want every child to feel safe, known, valued and ambitious for their future. We believe in high expectations, strong relationships and excellent care. Our job is to make sure pupils enjoy school, work hard, achieve well and leave us ready for the next stage of their lives. 

Our staff care deeply about our pupils and our community. They work hard every day to build positive relationships with children, families and each other. We know that pupils do best when they feel that they belong, when adults know them well and when everyone is working together around the same high standards. 

Learning at Excelsior is not limited to the classroom. We want pupils to experience a broad and rich education, with opportunities in sport, the arts, leadership, careers, personal development and the wider community. These experiences help pupils build confidence, character and aspiration, and support them to become kind, responsible and successful young people. 

EA Foundations supports our Year 5 to Year 7 pupils as they settle, grow in confidence and build the habits they need to succeed. This phase provides a nurturing and structured environment where pupils are encouraged to be curious, independent and ready for the next stage of their learning.
